How my journey began

Being a mom is hard. It’s been even harder with the full-term pregnancy loss I suffered. I’ve had to walk my own journey of allowing myself to grieve, learning to tell my story, and developing (and using!) regulation skills.

My name is Kelli Pavlovec. I have Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Townsend Institute. This graduate program is created and run by Dr. John Townsend, author of the Boundaries books. I am trained in trauma-informed care using a psychodynamic approach, with a lens of attachment theory. This means we look for the root cause of symptoms, and heal at a pace that respects the years of hurt, and the impact to the body, mind, and heart.

I offer both secular and Christian counseling. I will default to secular counseling, unless you specifically request Christian counseling.
